Audience:  Zoom users with low bandwidth internet connections

Objective:  To improve connection quality during zoom meetings


If you're experiencing poor video quality (dropped or lost frames) you now have the option to turn off incoming video during a Zoom meeting.  When using the Stop Incoming Video feature, you will only see shared screens and your own video if you have your camera unmuted.

NB:  This only affects your connection, everyone else will still be able to see the normal video images.



To activate: 

1. Click "View" in the upper right corner of your zoom window.

2. On the drop down menu click "Stop Incoming Video" (green oval in image below)

To deactivate:  

Click the "Stop Incoming Video" option again.
