The class selection process is done for the class listing page. It appears as a link with a list icon and the word "Classes" in the main nav bar (or dropdown from mobile devices). See the "red" arrow in the image below.
Once on the class selection page, you can use the filters at the top of the page to shorten the list or type in the search word of the class you want to find. The options for that class or training track appear in the far right column. In most cases, you are simply choosing the "Select" button. See green highlighted column in image below. If you click the header bar icon (marked by blue arrow), it will give you an explanation of what the different statuses mean.
The three yellow dots in the upper right nav bar, indicate that you are "logged in" (signed in). If you are enrolled and accepted in EMDC online you will be able to select classes. If you are NOT YET ENROLLED or your enrollment request is pending, you will not be able to select classes.

Green Column: Action buttons to click to perform the desired action.
Blue Arrow: To show you a detailed explanation of all of the status.
Yellow Arrow: The three dots indicate that you are "logged in."
