Is there a way to directly link to a class or training track?
Yes, there are two different ways.
- As a special Enrollment and Class Description Page
- As a popup on the list page
For both of these methods you will need the class ID number, to get that, go to: https://emdc.online/list
Obtain Class ID#
Find the class you wish to see and click the "more" button ("A" in image below). That will open a popup description of the class. Near the bottom of the page you will find the class ID number ("B" in the image below). That is the number you will need.
Special Enrollment and Class Description Page — The "Go" Method
When you use this method, it makes it look like the person has landed at a page within the site dedicated to this specific class. This is called the "Go" method. You are sending them to a "go" page. For this and the next step you are creating a direct link using the just obtained class number. To use the go method for the above class #172, you would use:

List Page Popup
When you use this method, it takes the person to the list view first and then opens a popup. The URL format is similar, just without the ss number. To use the go method for the above class #172, you would use:
Why Use One Instead of The Other?
Part of it is a matter of preference. If you know that you really want someone to attend a specific class and they are ready to sign up for it, use the "go" script. It provides a way for enrollment and signup at the same time. That also is the better choice when you know or anticipate that a person is not enrolled.
The popup becomes the better option for people who are familiar with the site and know about the extensive listing in the background. You are just using this to send them the details for a specific class. Because once they close the window, it will take them to the list and they will have to find that class on there.
